BINGO & CASINO EVENTS

At Eastside Memorial FC, we believe it takes a village to support one another — and our bingo fundraising events are a fantastic way to give back while helping offset your player’s expenses.

Through local bingo and casino events, Eastside Memorial FC receives valuable support from the Alberta Lottery Fund. These funds benefit everyone at the club by helping subsidize player registration fees across our programs.

If you're interested in working at one of these events - whether for yourself or on behalf of others in the community—there are plenty of opportunities to get involved!

We understand that some members may have concerns about participating in bingo due to religious beliefs, particularly regarding gambling. It’s important to clarify that volunteering at a bingo event is not the same as gambling — you are not playing the game or taking part in the wagering process.   You are assisting in an event organized by the licensed facility.  Your support helps fundraise for your team. Many of our members have found this distinction helpful in making their decision to participate.

We regularly need people to help at Bingo Palace in roles such as selling bingo cards and acting as a runner (verifying winning cards). In return, workers receive an EMFC loyalty voucher worth up to $80 per session, depending on the day and start time.

These vouchers can be used toward registration fees, equipment costs, or EMFC apparel like hoodies and tracksuits.
