Rising Stars - Our Philosophy
Our Philosophy
At EMFC, we believe that confident players become better players.
Our Rising Stars curriculum focuses on developing each child's individual skills first, helping them become comfortable with the ball before introducing teamwork and game play. This player-first approach builds confidence, encourages creativity, and creates a lifelong love of the game.
Whether your child is kicking a soccer ball for the very first time or already loves to play, Rising Stars provides the perfect environment to learn, make friends, stay active, and have fun.
What Makes Rising Stars Special
What Makes Rising Stars Special?
⚽ A Ball for Every Player
Children spend the majority of each session with a soccer ball at their feet, maximizing touches and developing confidence through play.
⚽ Learn Through Fun
Creative games, exciting challenges, and imaginative activities keep young players engaged while naturally developing soccer skills.
⚽ Age-Appropriate Coaching
Our certified coaches understand how young children learn and create an encouraging environment where every player can grow at their own pace.
⚽ Build Fundamental Movement Skills
Players develop balance, coordination, agility, running, jumping, and body control—essential skills that benefit every sport and everyday life.
⚽ Develop Soccer Fundamentals
Children are introduced to dribbling, turning, stopping the ball, passing, shooting, and basic game awareness through fun, engaging activities.
⚽ Small-Sided Games
Every session finishes with exciting games and scrimmages where players can put their new skills into action while learning teamwork, sportsmanship, and the joy of playing soccer.
⚽ Parents Welcome
Parents of our youngest players are encouraged to participate and cheer on their future soccer stars, creating a fun and supportive family experience.
