This program offers fun based activities to enhance physical literacy.  Created especially for children with physical disabilities, ADHD, FASD, OCD, and other cognitive or sensory differences, this program offers a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for young athletes who may not feel comfortable in traditional soccer settings.  ​Our curriculum is built on the Canada Soccer Learn to Play model.

The goal: spark joy, build confidence, and introduce soccer fundamentals in a way that meets each child where they’re at to ensure they are supported in a fun yet challenging environment.

PROGRAM BENEFITS: The 8-week curriculum focuses upon the development of physical literacy and soccer based technique. Every session incorporates fun activities and games to encourage social interaction and self-advocacy.

The pillars of Soccability are to provide a safe, fun, inclusive, and challenging environment, where every player is valued, and social bonds encouraged.

The program operates on a minimum 1:6 coach player ratio.

If a player requires more individual 1:1 support, this should be notified and supported by a guardian or support aid. Parents, siblings and buddies are invited to join us on the field where needed.

Additional blocks for only $ 110.00 per player *.

With support from the Every Kid Can Play grant, we have been able to reduce the cost of all EMFC House League programs.   This includes our Risings Stars program for U3-U6 players, our Community Starts program from U7-U12 players and our Soccability Adaptive soccer program for all abilities. 

Small print... If you register for addition blocks (2nd, 3rd, or 4th block), these will be available for only $ 110.00 per player. To receive this additional discount, registration for the upcoming program must be completed before the end of the current season to be eligible. These registrations can be completed online or through the EMFC office to have the discount applied. Players receiving the discounted rate of $110.00 will not receive another uniform, water bottle, cinch sack, t-shirt, photo, etc."

Indoor blocks take place at the Eastside Memorial Office & Development Centre: #5, 640 - 28 Street, NE, Calgary, AB T2A 5H7.

Block 4 – Starts 2026 May / Spring (Indoor) – Sundays  -  May 3, 10, 24, 31 June 7, 14, 21, 28  (no May 17)

Block 5 – Starting 2026 July / Summer (Outdoor) – Saturdays -  July 4, 11, 18, 25, Aug 8, 15, 22, 29

Starting 2026 October / Fall (Indoor) – Sundays - Oct 19, 16, Nov 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Dec 7

Starting 2027 January / New Year (Indoor)  – Sundays  - Jan 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb 7, 21, 28, Mar 7

Payment Arrangements

Players registering for the EMFC Recreation Soccer & Soccability programs can make arrangements to split their payments as follows:

Starting May 2026 (Indoor) – Sundays

At time of registration  - 50 % due

June 1, 2026         - 50 % due
