All players aged 8 - 12 years old are invited to join the EMFC Grassroot Soccer Fest. 

This event is open to both EMFC member and players not currently registered with EMFC.

Spend the day at play, as young players are introduced to the game of soccer in a positive and supportive environment. Activities are short, age-appropriate, and focused on the enjoyment of soccer.

Grassroots Soccer Fest activities Include:

• Skill Stations: Fun drills to build basic skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and ball control.
• Small-Sided Games: Non-competitive matches (e.g., 3v3 or 4v4) to encourage teamwork and more ball touches.

This event is presented with the Canada Soccer Association and seeks to provide some fun soccer activities and games for local players, new to EMFC.

There will be limited refreshments available at this event. Players and parents are encouraged to bring additional refreshments (water) and be watching for any pending weather conditions. Please attend dressed appropriately (athletic apparel) for the forecast weather. Field status (open and closed) will be available on the EMFC website at www.emfc.ca.

 

Players will be grouped in age-appropriate groups and encouraged to enjoy their time with us to make new friends in the community!!!!
