Welcome to the EMFC Development centre.  On October 15th, 2018, we opened the doors to our new centre in the warehouse complex #5, 640-28th Street NE.  The new centre includes an 80' x 84' turf field, fitness centre and meeting room.   
 
We believe that play allows youth of all ages to try new things, test boundaries and use their imaginations. In addition to the physical health benefits, active play offers cognitive, emotional and social development benefits. It has been shown to improve and foster motor function, creativity, decision-making, problem-solving and social skills, the ability to control emotions and preschoolers’ speech.
 
Sport is inclusive; it should remain physically, economically and socially accessible to all. It brings people from different backgrounds together in a positive way and it is an effective way for newcomers to integrate into a community.  In addition, having more fields and facilities directly allows for more people, of all ages, having the opportunity to play, practice and enjoy the sport of soccer and other field sports.  Participation in community sport helps promote and develop life-long healthy habits
 
Our organization will be able to provide the opportunity to include over 750 new participants annually, in new programs that will be offered within the facility. 
The completion of this project will also aid in the long-term economic growth and sustainability of the Club.  It will also provide new employment opportunities for young members of the local community.

Space is available to rent year round.  The training fields are turf fields (Agility Elite w/ 5mm ActionBack) which offers a high-quality feel. Fields can be rented individually or combined depending on availability.  The Fitness Studio and the boardroom are also available for team use.  Please check the Master Schedule for availability or contact the office (office@eastsidememorialfc.com) for bookings.
