Skills Centre (U10-U12, born 2013 - 2014)


 

SKILLS CENTRE

(u10-u11: birth years 2014-2013) including CMSA games

Training: 

The Skills Centre will provide continued technical and skill development activities to support every player’s progression. The first session each week will be led by EMFC technical staff to provide skills-based training in their age groups. The second session will be team-based training led by appointed EMFC team coaches and supported by EMFC technical coaches. The players will be rostered to teams for the duration of the season.

The focus of this program is to further develop the players technical ability and passion for the game, whilst introducing team principles and play.

SKILLS CENTRE TRAINING PROGRAM (11 Weeks)

Location: Bob Edwards Field, 4424 Marlborough Dr, NE 

Dates: April 9 - June 20, 2024

Times: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7:15 - 8:45 pm

Registration Fees: $650

 

PRE-SEASON:

Teams will be provided with two open team sessions during March

This will be the players first season on a team roster. An open session period will be provided, where players will attend to play and be assorted to form the age appropriate teams rosters.

Open Sessions are where all the players will attend to participate in some activities and games. Within these sessions the team coaches and technical staff will allocate players in accordance to the team rosters.

 

CMSA Games Format:

All EMFC teams will be entered into CMSA Development +, which provides a longer playing season.

Teams will be selected internally from the EMFC player pool. They will then play one game of 2 x 25 minute halves each week. Game days for this format will be varied.

Location: Various city wide

CMSA Developmental + Rally July 27-28, 2024 to wrap up the season
