PROGRAM: The Development Centre provides a technical program and introduction to game play through Calgary Minor Soccer’s Festival events. There are two training sessions per week. Both are led EMFC Technical Staff and Junior Coaches who will assist with supporting the Saturday Festival games.  

The emphasis of the Development Centre is to provide a curriculum that will support young players to develop their physical literacy and confidence within soccer, that is further nurtured through a passion to play and introduction to game play.

LOCATION: EMFC Development Centre, 640 28 St NE, Calgary AB T2A 6R3

DATES: October 15-March 9

TIMES: Monday’s 6:00-7:00pm & Thursdays 5.00-7.00pm

CMSA Games Format: Teams are selected within the player pool each week, to perform in a Festival style format that introduces game principles without the consideration of game score and standings. The emphasis is to encourage players and parents to focus on playing and having fun within the players early development. Players are expected to attend and participate in these games sessions to support their development and understanding.
