EMFC is opening a new Office and Development Centre on September 2
This exciting, new office space will also include about 3200 sq ft specifically to be used for instructional space for soccer development.
On weekends our EMFC Play 2 Learn program for children aged 3-6 years old will be held at the centre. These classes are designed for the children to be active, have fun with an emphasis on learning to play with others – not on match play. Our leaders will use a variety of fun games to develop balance, coordination, movement, and soccer motor skills as well as listening to instructions. We will teach kicking, running control, and dribbling techniques. As players progress, more advanced skill development games are introduced to the groups.
The new Development Centre will also be the primary location for our new U8 and U10 winter house league program.
Weekdays, after school, EMFC players will have the opportunity to participate in specialized SKILLS training focusing on Finishing & Shooting or Tricks & Ball Manipulation. Focus will be on basic fundamentals of player development and how to use them effectively in a game.
The balance of the space will be used for a fitness room, administrative offices and operations.
