Casino /Bingo Events Sept 2023 to Aug 2024
Casino Gaming proceeds are used every year to support the Club’s overall objectives, programs and services as approved.
This includes the following items:
- Administration costs (website, stationary, advertising, insurance)
- Facility Rentals
- Coaching Certification (training and education)
- League Registration Fees
Our last casino held in 2020 contributed over $ 60,000 in funding.
To receive these fund, the Club is responsible to provide 17 - 18 workers for each day to preform various duties.
Individuals that complete shifts at a Casino event are eligible to receive a program voucher of $ 110.00 that can be used towards your player registration , club apparel, team travel & equipment costs and a $ 20.00 food and beverage allowance, for each shift worked.

Brief Desciption of Casino Worker Positions
NOTE: These postions are worked by a different person for each event during the year. It's Easy... !!
Volunteers are always supervised and assisted by AGLC Advisors and Casino staff
GENERAL MANAGER / ALTERNATE GENERAL MANAGER – CASH CAGE
- Ensures a sufficient number of volunteers for each day
- Ensures signed cheques are available to pay expenses on the evening of the second day
- Verify transactions including the opening and/or closing cash cage float of chips and cash, opening game chip counts, and banker shift change
- Witness cashier/player transactions of more than $200.00
- May relieve the banker and chip runners during meals/breaks
- Must be in the casino at all times during scheduled shift
BANKER
- Controls the cash cage float of chips and cash
- Witness cashier/player transactions of more than $200.00
- Generates fills/credits for cash/chip transfers through the ‘CasinoTrack’ computer system
- Busiest during opening, volunteer shift changes, and closing of casino
- Computer skills are very helpful
CASHIER
- Cashes in chips for players
- Cashiers are responsible for their own floats
- This position requires concentration and accuracy
- Good manual dexterity is helpful
CHIP RUNNER (a job title not a job description!)
- A courier for chip orders (requests) from casino games
- Operates a touch screen portable computer
- This volunteer should be mobile and have a steady hand
- This position is usually busy at opening and closing
GENERAL MANAGER / ALTERNATE GENERAL MANAGER – COUNT ROOM
(This optional manager is allowed by the AGLC, can be one of the six required in the count room, and is strongly recommended!)
- Ensures a sufficient number of volunteers are present for the count
- Open drop boxes and/or help sort cash
- On day 1 - Verify cash transactions including signing of the count room cash to the safe
- On day 2 - Verify cash transactions including the return of the float and transfer of the balance to the casino operator
COUNT ROOM SUPERVISOR
- Records cash counts through the ‘CasinoTrack’ computer system
- Good computer skills are helpful
- Not required to handle cash
COUNT ROOM STAFF
- Sorts, counts, records, verifies and amalgamates cash from the drop boxes from the games
- Recorder assists count room supervisor, computer skills are helpful
