EMFC wish to provide an environment that encourages young children to fall in love with the game.

 

All EMFC Soccer Programs align to the coaching standards and requirements of Sport Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development and Canada Soccer's Player Pathway. 
 

For Players born in 2020-2018 (optional for 2017, for ages U4, U5, and U6, Mixed Gender)

 

The Grassroots Program is our Introduction to play program, where the focus is upon introducing and developing physical literacy and a passion to play in very young players.

 

SESSIONS: All sessions are delivered through a station rotation format. This encourage active learning and social engagement through the rotation of various fun activity and game stations.

  

Our goal is to provide a fun and engaging environment that encourages players to develop a passion for physical activity and a sense of belonging through soccer.

 

Parents will be required to assist with the U4 program and encouraged to support and assist if desired with the U5 and U6 programs. Each Program will conclude with a fun games festival on the final session.

 

Club-supplied equipment: Uniform to keep, includes Team Jersey, Shorts and socks, backpack, water bottle.

 

Please register for one of the two program options:

 

Dates: Wednesdays 5:00 – 6:00 pm from May 1 – June 19, 2024

Location: EMFC Development Centre, #5, 640-28 Street NE

Registration Fees: $195

 

OR

 

Dates: Saturdays 9:00 – 10:00 am from May 4 – June 29, 2024 (No long weekend session)

Location: Bob Edwards Field, 4424 Marlborough Dr, NE

Registration Fees: $195
