Financial Assistance and Subsidy Programs
KidSport - Jumpstart
Although we try to assist our members with these subsidy programs, Families must complete the application and provide all the financial documents required on the application form. We cannot process your registration without them.
To avoid any delay with registration and to ensure that your child can particpate in all activities have the Club submit your application form.
Families are responsible to pay any balance not covered by subsidy. This balance is due at the time of registration.
Once your subsidy is awarded, you will receive notice directly from the program.
If you receive less than anticiapted, the family is responsible to pay any remaining balance.
In this situation, please contact the Club directly to make payment arrangements.
Please rmember that the applications must be signed by the Club prior to submitting.
Families applying for Kidsport or Jumpstart are asked to register before March 18 to allow for processing time.
Any applications submitted after March 18, the Families will have to pay the registration fee and then submit their application.
If Kidsport/jJmpstart approves the application, EMFC will then issue a refund cheque to the family.

Application Checklist
Step 1
Fill out child and adult information. Be sure to complete all fields.
Step 2
Sport program information section is to be filled out by a representative of the sport organization. Child should be registered in a program prior to completing an application form.
Step 3
Must provide proof of *household* income. See list of suitable financial documents under the income information section of the application form.
Step 4
Be sure to complete the waiver and release portion of the application form.
Step 5
You should now have completed all fields on the application form and attached your income information. You can now submit applications and financial information via fax, email or post. This information can be found on the application form.
*Important*
If you do not complete all necessary steps and include the appropriate information we will be unable to fully process your application. To ensure the smoothest and quickest possible application process- all fields of the form should be completed and household financial information should be attached.
