Fees and Installments


To help ensure that players and teams are properly placed in the correct divisions, all CMSA teams will play a series of “Pre-Season” games.  These exhibition games will be played between Oct 27  and Nov 18, 2018. At the completion of the preseason round, individual players and/or entire teams may be moved either up or down at the discretion of the EMFC Technical Committee and team coaches, as a result of performance.  This allows EMFC to place teams appropriately into Tiers.  Team rosters for the season will be finalized following the preseason round. Registration fee adjustments will be billed or refunded at the end of the seeding round. If parent accepts child's placement on a division higher than they registered for, they accept the additional charge.

U13 CMSA Tier I - Elite - Focus is on commitment, advanced skill development and game awareness and challenge.

• For children born in 2006
• Tier I requires a significant commitment from both players and parents. Failure to meet this commitment may result in reduced playing time.
• Evaluations will be based on the tier in which you register - please register at the level at which you wish to be evaluated. Note that registering for tier I does not guarantee a placement at that level. All players will be evaluated for appropriate skill level.

• In order to attend mandatory evaluations players should be registered and the initial fee payment processed. Players must be registered and initial fees paid prior to attending second evaluation.

• U13 Tier I will play Futsal
•  
• No Set game days as scheduled by CMSA
• Pre-season Round from Oct 27 - Nov 18 (Teams and players may move)
• Regular Season from Nov 26 - Feb 28
• U13 Tier 1 Season leads to Futsal Final 4, Mar 4 - Mar 8
• Registration fees include a team tournament, at the team's discretion.

Volunteer coaches are provided support and training. If interested in volunteer opportunities in the coaching area, please indicate so in the Volunteer section of the online registration process.

U13 Tier II/III  - Competitive - Focus is on advanced skill development and game awareness and challenge.

• For children born in 2006.
• Evaluations will be based on the tier in which you register - please register at the level at which you wish to be evaluated. Note that registering for tier II or III does not guarantee a placement at that level. All players will be evaluated for appropriate skill level.

• Time commitment – 3 to 4 times per week
• Weekly Coach Led Practices
• Technical and fitness training fees are included - players will attend training sessions with club professional staff.
• Technical and fitness training sessions to be held once or twice per week (12 hours technical, 8 hours fitness)

• In order to attend mandatory evaluations players should be registered and the initial fee payment processed. Players must be registered and initial fees paid prior to attending second evaluation.
•  
• Tier II and  III  will play Boarded soccer.
•  
• No Set game days as scheduled by CMSA
• Pre-season Round from Oct 27 - Nov 18 (Teams and players may move)
• Regular Season from Nov 26 - Feb 28
• Season leads  to U13 Alberta Soccer Association Provincials Mar 15 - Mar 17
• Registration fees include a team tournament, at the team's discretion.

U14 CMSA Tier IV and V - Developmental -  Focus is on continuing skill development and game knowledge and enjoyment

• For children born in 2006
• Evaluations will be based on the tier in which you register - please register at the level at which you wish to be evaluated. Note that registering for tier I I or III does not guarantee a placement at that level. All players will be evaluated for appropriate skill level.

• Time commitment – 2 to 3 times per week.
• Weekly Coach Led Practices
•  
• Technical and fitness fees are  included - players will attend 6 technical and 4 fitness hours with club professional staff.
• In order to attend mandatory evaluations players should be registered and the initial fee payment processed. Players must be registered and initial fees paid prior to attending a second evaluation.
• Tiers IV - VI  will play Boarded soccer.
•  
• Tier IV/V - No set game days  - as scheduled by CMSA.
•  
• Pre-Season Round from Oct 27 -  Nov 18 (Teams and players may move)
• Regular Season from Nov 26 - Feb 28
• Season may lead  to U14 Alberta Soccer Association Provincials(Tier IV) or Inter-Cities (Tier V)
• Registration fees include a team tournament, at the team's discretion.

We have a committed coaching support team this season to provide technical back-up for practices and games as needed.
