Dear Members and Future Members,

Further to Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the Premier's announcement permitting outdoor camps in Alberta.  Canada Soccer, Alberta Soccer and CMSA have being working diligently and have come forward with positive news, that we are one step closer to returning to the field.  

At this time, we are working closely with CMSA and ASA,  and we have moved forward with revised EMFC/CMSA programs. For those Members that have already enrolled with EMFC, we will be moving these fees over to the new programs that will be offered. Any overages can be credited to any other EMFC programs or future programs.  If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Officer Coordinator during business hours, as per below.  

 

EMFC has revised our website with these changes and offering Outdoor programs that will include training sessions, fitness sessions, and other CMSA, ASA and CSA approved programs, that will be in line with approved Return to Play protocols.   Waivers, continual sanitation, social distancing and additional time between sessions to ensure limited to no contact between sessions, are just some of what EMFC will be providing based on existing AHS directives.  EMFC's Return to Play guidelines will be provided through email and a quick fact sheet at the first session to all participants, to ensure EMFC members are fully up to date on all protocols and Return to Play guidelines.
 

EMFC is continually monitoring directives by Alberta Health Services, Alberta Soccer, CMSA and Canada Soccer.  The safety of our players, our people and our larger community is of the utmost importance.  We want all current and future EMFC members to know that we are here and open for registration and business.  In addition to standard cleaning (door handles, light switches, tables and chairs, and other commonly touched surfaces) as part of our routine maintenance, we have increased our sanitation and cleaning efforts to ensure the EMFC Development Centre/Facility is safe for its employees, members and visitors.  In addition, a hand sanitizer station has been placed at the entrance into the facility.  These efforts are just additional layers on top of each individual's responsibility of frequent hand washing to mitigate the risk.
